About the Captain!

Captain Jude Goddard - A fully licensed USCG Captain. Born and raised in Central Florida and fishing since he could walk. Jude has always been passionate for the outdoors and has been running grooves through the water for years. Since getting his first boat at 13 years old, he has focused most of his time on being a dedicated angler. Living in New Smyrna Beach, Florida it is a waterman’s paradise. When not on the water, Jude enjoys surfing, hunting and lifting weights.

The Locations

  • Ponce Inlet and New Smyrna Beach waterways offers exceptional fishing year round, while New Smyrna offers exciting tarpon trips with the migratory tarpon off the beach and year round Inlet fishing. Whether you want to catch the fish of a lifetime or have constant action all day this is the place to be
  • Mosquito lagoon offers year round fishing off snook, redfish, black drum and trout, seasonally tarpon. While the winter time is exceptional offering big schools of black drum and redfish. Sight casting summertime tailing redfish are a sight to see.
  • Port Fourchon, Louisiana offers world class sight fishing for Bull Redfish. Whether you are a diehard fly fishing angler and want to check off a 40” Bull or a conventional angler who enjoys big fish on the flats we’ve got you covered. As that will be a seasonal time of 1 month in November book now before the slots fill! As for lodging, contact us and we will provide a brochure of a world class fishing lodge.

The Boats

Pathfinder 2400 TRS

The Pathfinder is a 24’ bay boat, powered by a 300HP Yamaha. The pathfinder specializes in comfortable riding through the inlets and nearshore, while still being able to get shallow and find those fish in the back creeks. The boat is equipped with top of the line electronics and accessories, such as power pole shallow water anchor and a Minn Kota Ipilot trolling motor, which allows for smooth anchoring and maneuvering.

Maverick Mirage HP

The Maverick is a 17’ technical poling skiff powered by a F70 Yamaha. The Maverick Specializes in poling ultra skinny and can go where others can’t! It is equipped with top of the line electronics and accessories such as a minn kota Ipilot trolling motor, which is capable of keeping the boat locked in one spot once we find a school of fish. It is also equipped with a tall but sturdy casting platform to provide the best view and advantage to catch more fish. With a 24 gallon tank, we will have no problems making long and comfortable runs to find the fish.

About The Charters

Captain Jude provides all the necessary licensing as well as insurance. The best bait and tackle for the type of fishing for that day, as well as iced down coolers and waters. We will be using the highest quality rods and reels such as Shimano, Penn, Crowder and St. Croix as well as Tibor, Nautilus, Scott and sage for our fly fishing trips.

If applicable we ask you to bring polarized sunglasses, a hat, bug spray (if needed), and sunscreen. No spray sunscreen as it can wear down the upholstery. The captain has extras if needed, please contact prior to the trip. As we will have an iced down cooler, feel free to bring your personal preference of drinks. Alcohol is welcomed, but we do ask you leave glass bottles at the dock! Snacks and your own lunch depending on the trips duration, as well as non-slip shoes, no black soles as it will scuff the boat, and most importantly weather appropriate clothing.
